For decades thousands of masqueraders have awoken on Ash Wednesday to a sense of nostalgia. Just hours before they were palancing in the blazing sun and drinking merrily on the streets of Port of Spain and San Fernando. For decades their appetite could not be quenched. To date no event has been able to establish itself on Ash Wednesday that could offer a safe partying environment with great food, people, music and vibes.

In 2013 Trinidadian-born Brian Robinson formulated Afterblast Creative Concepts. A current resident of Canada, Brian frequently visits the various Carnivals around the world to gather ideas that would help ensure a premium product could be created. In 2013 the first edition of “Afterblast” was executed at the Big Yard resort in Toco.
Drawing a crowd of 500+ patrons the event was regarded as a success. This All-inclusive event boasted premium drinks as well as various assortments of wild meat cooked on the spot.
